The Captive Heart specializes in Inspirational and Nature Inspired Jewelry. We have a variety of different styles and designs available in several different metals types. Each piece is created completely by hand using only the highest quality material to achieve the highest quality result!
We design all our own prototypes and molds being mindful not to reproduce the work of other Artists. We also Hand Forge our own jewelry findings and components, which we prefer over using prefabricated, mass produced components.

We take "Nothing" and make "Something" beautiful!
Our unique Handmade Jewelry is created using specialized Sculpting and Metalworking techniques. Our pieces are made from various Metal Clays, Bare Wire, and other Natural Elements.
Metal Clay is a unique form of Metal that is soft and pliable allowing it to be sculpted, shaped, and carved before firing in a Jeweler’s Kiln. During the firing process, the Metal Clay sinters to become a solid piece of metal which can be further refined, forged, and soldered the same as any other cast or sheet metal.
An Antique Patina is added to finished pieces to bring out the fine detail and texture. Each piece is Polished to either a matte or mirror finish. As a final touch, our pieces are Hand Polished with Renaissance Wax to provide a protective seal.
